frumpy Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 (edited) Hi there, with the update of 4.005 I found that the pan view is different from before. I am using the coolie-hat of my joystick for looking around. F9 changes the viewmodes, when I zoom out in the cockpit (e.g. to get around on the ground) and then move the hat, the view changes to the desired direction and then zooms in. I don't think the zoom was present before, or is it me? How can I stop the uncommanded zooming? edit: This happened in the Hs-129. The MiG-3 reacts as expected. BornToBattle Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 I had to go in and change my POV hat switch again after the update (removed the Snap settings and replaced with the pilot horizontal head movement). However, when I fly in 2D mode (I fly VR 99% of the time) I can now turn my pilot head around in both horizontal directions and do the pilot head bow but I also have the problem of when I hit the button on my joystick to return my view to the front of the aircraft it indeed does - but then zooms in instead of giving me the wider situational awareness view I desire. So each time I have to reach over and zoom out in order to maintain that wider view I desire. Have not found the correct setting yet to keep the view forward from not automatically going into a zoom mode, so kinda solved the problem of having the pan view from automatically resetting itself to a forward zoom view once I take my finger off the hat switch, but still likes to zoom upon hitting the view forward designated key/button.
