Promo code "already used" without purchase

So with the new Cabin Fever Promo Codes up Im really excited to get my hands on BOBP. After adding BOBP DLC to my cart and activating the coupon (Cabin Fever 50 ) i reached the payment option website there I had a difficulty and the webpage crash and the transaction was not complete, I reset my cart and tried again but now it mentions my coupon being used and now im unable to activate it, I doubled check my account and the DLC was not purchased. Contacted Support now just hoping for a response :). Has anyone had the same problem?

I have a similar issue that happened to me today. Cant order bobp now till its sorted out sadly. Goodluck on getting yours fixed ?

ya, that happens, promo code is not tied to a purchase only to lowering price "before you make a purchase" and get redirected to paytment site, but once used  once it can't be used again (even if u did not complete the purchase it or payment failed)
 

Basically those codes are used as soon as you click the apply code button. (so u only get one shot at it)

 

I found this our after I decided to only get 1 of the two items I was going to buy (because xsolla add their cut),so I canceled  and went back to start again, but code was used....

 

It was because of this I noticed the cost when you calculate exchange rate for you  local currency  $ vs US$ price on the website, purchases on web site are higher (than comparable cost of same thing on steam (which is in local $) its about 20% more on web site for same item.

(which means dev gets even less afters steam has their cut)

 

I believe the payment gateway (xsolla.com) adds their payment fee to it (like paypal does), so using a 50% promo code is actually more like 40% promo.(or the exchange rate used by xsolla is really awful and about 10-20 higher than actual rate)

Update: After I sent a support ticket they reset my promo code again.

I also tried to use the 75% promo code today but the dollar amount didn't change when I hit the apply button,  so I didn't complete the purchase. I bought FC and BOBodenplatte with the 75% code several weeks ago, so it appears the "Cabin Fever" special can only be used once. Can anyone confirm that?
