Can't Uninstall 'IL-2 Sturmovik : Great Battles' - File Missing?!

I'm having problems with the sim AND my flight controllers and have decided that the best thing would be to uninstall and then reinstall the software for BOTH of  these.

 

However, when I try and uninstall 'IL-2 Sturmovik : Great Battles' I get the attached ERROR MESSAGE - essentially stating that I don't have the file "….\unins000.dat" (I do have the file "....\unins000.exe though and clicking on that file also asks for "...'\uninsta000.dat").

 

Any assistance on this would be appreciated.

All you need to do to uninstall the game is delete the game's folder - the install routine doesn't modify the registry.
