Gora_ Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 (edited) During my 3h flight today I experienced 3 crashes of my VR headset (HP Reverb v2). I've never had such a problems before. Screens go blue and after a while headset shows WMR home. I checked windows logs and every time it happened was the same information: Quote Critical: The device HP Reverb VR Headset VR1000-2xxx (location 0005.0000.0000.002.001.000.000.000.000) is offline due to a user-mode driver crash. Windows will attempt to restart the device 5 more times. Please contact the device manufacturer for more information about this problem. details: - System - Provider [ Name] Microsoft-Windows-DriverFrameworks-UserMode [ Guid] {2e35aaeb-857f-4beb-a418-2e6c0e54d988} EventID 10111 Version 1 Level 1 Task 64 Opcode 0 Keywords 0x2000000000000000 - TimeCreated [ SystemTime] 2020-04-08T23:11:16.1308454Z EventRecordID 21902 Correlation - Execution [ ProcessID] 964 [ ThreadID] 1056 Channel System Computer DESKTOP-K39OF7I - Security [ UserID] S-1-5-18 - UserData - UmdfDeviceOffline LifetimeId {145c716d-75b0-462f-b2e2-067ef6842b9a} FriendlyName HP Reverb VR Headset VR1000-2xxx Location 0005.0000.0000.002.001.000.000.000.000 InstanceId USB\VID_045E&PID_0659&MI_04\7&108DD9A8&0&0004 RestartCount 5 Quote - System - Provider [ Name] Microsoft-Windows-DriverFrameworks-UserMode [ Guid] {2e35aaeb-857f-4beb-a418-2e6c0e54d988} EventID 10110 Version 1 Level 1 Task 64 Opcode 0 Keywords 0x2000000000000000 - TimeCreated [ SystemTime] 2020-04-08T23:11:16.1094496Z EventRecordID 21901 Correlation - Execution [ ProcessID] 964 [ ThreadID] 1056 Channel System Computer DESKTOP-K39OF7I - Security [ UserID] S-1-5-18 - UserData - UMDFHostProblem LifetimeId {145c716d-75b0-462f-b2e2-067ef6842b9a} Problem 8 DetectedBy 2 ActiveOperation 0 ExitCode 1879048193 Message 0 Status 4294967295 Edited April 8, 2020 by RavN_Gora
E69_Qpassa_VR Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Yep, sometime game crashes don't know why...
SCG_Fenris_Wolf Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 WMR drivers. I had gotten rid of the issue - then 3 days ago a WMR update came. An back to the blue screen issue. Now, I've read that the new firmware update lowers brightness and contrast of the G2's screens. It allegedly solved the issue however. I'll wait and watch (Reddit, HP Reverb G2 is where the Devs communicate directly)how his story unfolds before I update my firmware. 1
