FW-190 A-8 top speed at sea level

During last few months I find out the FM of FW-190 A-8 was changed.

Speed of this fighter at sea level is now much slower than before, even with boost and closed shutters.

I don´t agree with top speed of 558 km/h in emergency mode.

In my source which is book written by Captain Eric Brown - Wings of the Luftwaffe is maximal speed of FW-190 A-8 at sea level  571 km/h.

Note: Captain Eric Brown tested captured German planes in Britain during and after WW2.

Did you try on Kuban autumn map (15°C and 1atm )?

 

I just tested now and obtain 581kph on deck with 1.58 (or is it 1.65?) ata, that is to say, when you activate boost. Kuban Autumn, closed shutters, elevator stabilizer fully down, 38m in altitude above sea.

All I can get is 574 Kph (ATA 1.59) at sea level. How can 1.65 ATA be reached? 

 

I understand both, A8 and A5U17, are using the same C3 boost (max 1.65), but all I can reach with both is 1.59 ATA (570 Kph with A5 and 574 Kph with A8)

You need to be in 2nd sup stage to have 1.65 ata with boost on, in first max is 1.58. So go abow 2600m and youll get 1,65.

What happened in the latest patches with the 190A8? Now max I can get at sea level is 542kph (1.58 ATA, Kuban autumn), last time I tested it, it reached 574. 😲

You are 100% right, for some reason my option of radiator assist got disabled.
