No roll on Logitech extreme 3D pro

After installing the current update via steam. When setting up my controls I found that I can bind roll normally, however in game there is no input and when I go to calibrate there is no response. Moreover pitch is locked in invert and I cannot change it. This joystick worked perfectly an update back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
