Airscrew animation speed

Do you think the propeller animation is indicative of rpm ?

I only ask because the Dolphin prop is a hell of a lot more prominent.  Is it really turning at 1500rpm, just like the Mercedes D.IIIa and the Spad (same engine and gearing I believe although it might differ depending on manufacturer of engine) ?  It's even more prominent than that of the Camel and DR 1 who's prop's don't even go that fast.

The Dolphin seems  to run at the correct engine speed according to the spec's, but is the gearing ratio correct ?

Not to cause any more trouble ? but, it seems to me that the propeller, if the animation is anything to go by, runs significantly slower than that of the Spad XIII, equipped with the same engine.  The Hispano-Suiza 8b used in these aircraft was a geared engine driving the propeller at speeds anywhere between 1170rpm (24/41) and 1500rpm (21/28).   I assume the Spad runs at the 1500rpm (21/28) but what does the Dolphin run at ?  If it is running at 1170rpm (24/41) then it should,  perhaps, be running with a 4 bladed propeller ?

"Airscrews: Four-blade airscrews T.28096 were usually used on S.E.5a’s with French engines with 24:41 gears. The majority of aircraft had two-blade airscrews A.B.8080 or T.28137M on Wolseley built 200hp geared engines or French Hispanos with 21:28 gears.  With Viper engines A.B.7673 or A.D.662."

If the Dolphin propeller is running at 1500rpm  (21/28), why is it visably slower/different to that of the Spad and more in line with the animation one sees with  the propellers of other aircfraft in the game turning at a slower rpm, when throttled back ?
