Very useful wide variety of pics for it allows the comparison with the current 5.035 Blitz version (no Blitz version back in 2014) AND with the closed beta shared captures. Some may prefer some visual elements that one may find in the above 2014 screenshots, but, in my humble opinion, the evolution of the visuals during the progression 2014 (4.0) --> 2017 (4.5) --> 2020 (5.0) is very good and I trust the current closed beta will be la crème de la crème at release in... 2023. 2

That was quite interesting to randomly see either Dover or Great Battles captures, it proved that both games visually worth it. 1

But with proper set of MODs and good point of view even IL-2 1946 may look good. Spoiler Graphics extender MOD + VP media modpack (I think with B.A.T. it may look even better). 1

I think we are approaching the point when we won't be able to tell the difference between real photos and virtual ones ... ... Just like myself I suppose. major_setback Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 (edited) Some old ones. I think these were taken just before the release of Blitz. I took a lot of screenshots then, and some were used in forum updates, others not. Some might have been shown before but I don't thinks so. They were in a folder I named "screenshots TF4.49 first download". We might have been adjusting the lighting pre-release, because a couple of screenshots have odd looking light (no editing though). ctd... ctd... Edited April 14, 2023 by major_setback 8

Even though the Americans called it the Wildcat, the Martlet is still a ferocious bird! Our anti-shipping attack in the Wellington Torpedo version caused the Italians 'some' issues.
