Opentrack keeps shutting down

I am running Opentrack 1.2p7 with the Freetrack 2.0 protocol.

 

I do not have Nvidia Moonlight installed.

 

But after a few minutes it shuts down or freezes. Sometimes I can't even find it in task manager to close it and restart, although half the time it is there but way down the list of processes

 

I have rebound the keys to 'F8' to toggle on and off. I'll see if that helps

 

Anyone else had this problem? It's only started in the last few days, but it is getting worse.

Edit: I've just flown halfway across Western Germany from Aachen to Frankfurt-am-Main and it hasn't gone off once. It seems that using Shift+A for autolevel and Shift+Z or X for left and right turns shuts it down. But If I double tap, it comes back on again. Odd.

 

I have also selected 'Bring to front' on TaskMgr for this software. Would that help?
