J5_Adam Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 Do any of the Jastas do live streams? It might be a good idea to at least record individual tracks so that (hopefully) other aircraft can be identified in this invisible Plane bug thing. So far the DVIIF, DVII Albatros and Halb have all been witnessed as being invisible (most on video and some not) Some people (including a not so popular allied squad and a Jasta) claim that SPADS were also Invisible. But there’s no evidence to show.
SeaW0lf Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 I never saw invisible planes on the Entente side. I suspect of a case dated a few months back of a Spad, but I wasn't recording. That's about it. On the Central side, I only saw invisible D7Fs and D7s, which seems to be the most common cases. But I don't have a squadron, and then my incidents are sparse and isolated (I think I had four or five since December, which to me is a lot). People flying together report these bugs all the time.
J5_Adam Posted April 3, 2020 Author Posted April 3, 2020 Well, I was just on TS with one of the 3rd FGrd who said that there was an instance when 3 players were on and no one could see each other's SPADs. No details on maps/missions and no video evidence.

J2_Trupobaw Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 If you want to get an invisible Spad... Get 5 buddies, take off from as many different airfields as you can, fly away from each other for 20 minutes, then set a rally point and try to find each other. And have everyone record a track. If Spad is affected you will see. BTW we have not seen this bug recently when forming up in D.VIIs ( I was on receving end when flying a Bristol, though.).

There’s only one of me but a lot of huns gathered on Thursdays and Sundays hence the OP question.... are there any Jastas making recordings? Edited April 4, 2020 by Adam
J5_Gamecock Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 Daedallus makes recording frequently. I guess that if an invisible Spad were to show up he would probably find it sooner or later. JG1_Hotlead also streams frequently so I guess he would be a good source. Personally, I've only had 1 confirmed experience with an invisible plane, and that was a DVII. I have been bounced when, "I'm sure I just looked there!"... but so far nothing to say that I've been the victim of anything other than a really good bounce by a veteran pilot. If there out there, they will be found. (just like Bigfoot) 2
