1.  Shut Out

Last night while flying on a squadmates in game server, ("Create a server"), only three of us could spawn on the home field base.  In addition the same thing occurred at the airstart spawn point.  (DF mission)  After that everyone else saw a greyed out "Noway" icon and couldn't spawn in.
He has hosted his self made missions before and it wasn't a problem.

I checked my settings against his and couldn't find any differences. Where besides in the settings below the hosts mission choice area should we look or is it something else?

2. What Does It Mean?

While testing a dogfight mission I am building I noticed at the Home airfield there was
a. A small red tank with the number 16
b. A small single red human figure

What do these small icons represent?  I couldn't find anything in either of the manuals.

(my coalition colors are Blue Friendly/Red Enemy if that matters)

TIA

Do I get to charge for answering? (I'm kidding of course!)

1) You had "Coalition balance" enabled. After 3 people on a single side, no other players can join that side until someone joins the other side

2) Please show me a picture of what you're describing.

I'll pass it along.  We are testing tonight.  I'll let you know.

Interesting. Does it blink the entire mission or just at mission start?

Maybe test this by creating an empty mission and only put the airfield in it. What happens then?

I think you must have ground units that are of the opposite coalition close to that AF. 16 of them, the top symbol means the AF thinks it's under attack.

I suggest you check the airfield buildings/vehicles and everything at the nearby objectives?

if there are neutral objects at the field, some will show up as enemy vehicles.  Most common are windsocks/landing tee's/flags.

I hate the blinking dagger.....wish I could drum up more support for getting the devs to make it an option.

S O L V E D !

1. The problem with being unable for all of us to get in his server was that he had "Coalition balancer" checked.  He unchecked it and we all got in.

2. The problem was I used a "Landing 'T' group" that was "allied" and the base I used it on was "axis" (the fakefield).   That gave me the little tanks with numbers (the number of "enemy" objects).  I changed the "enemy" objects to "allied" and the tanks didn't show up.

Thanks for the help everyone!   Again you showed patience with what is elementary mission building but I have to learn somewhere.  fortunately I'm enrolled here in the

University of Great Battles Mission Building or good ol' UGBMB.

and I have an excellent faculty to learn from.

I hear the only drawback to attending is you never really graduate? ??

Kudos gents. ??
