Future Maps....Stalingrad undamaged?

Catching up on my history and reading several books on the history of the Battle of Stalingrad.  Stalingrad itself is such a key part of that history.  Carpet bombing by the Germans setting the stage for a street fighting enivironment.  

 

In ROF the seasonal maps were more about how nice the map looked in the fall, but in BOS as a mission builder having Stalingrad buildings in tact for missions at the start of the war would open up a lot of mission scenarios.

 

I apologize if this question has already been posted, but do you think there is a chance in the long run that we will see an undamaged Stalingrad or an adjustable damage model in the mission builder?

Having different seasons would be great, especially for a career campaign.

BoS covers a very limited time frame currently. Their planes are to expand. Either it will be an entirely new battle such or they may possibly introduce a fall or spring of Stalingrad with a few planes. There has already been talk of the I-16, which could fit in this battle but I suspect that it might be an expansion on the timeframe of Stalingrad for fall unless it is an entirely new battle prior to Stalingrad.

 

It's all speculation, we don't even have the current version done - no one should expect a "what's next" until the current one is done. That's like asking a car manufacturer what their next year cars will be and look like when they are still building the current years that the public hasn't even seen a final version of. That was the best analogy I could come up with, but it makes the most sense.

Understood Furious, I come at this more from a story line perspective and am realizing the BOS is a single complicated story on one map, where ROF was many stories spread over several maps.   Will be interesting to see how it unfolds over time...

I agree, I'd like to see how it will work out and if we'll see an expanse on the current Stalingrad battle through the seasons including a great expansion on the planeset or if it will end with a summer version of the current winter map and a few extra planes sold such as the I-16 and some others.

 

It'll be great to see the WWs in the virtual skies again, I haven't seen many in RoF (which surprises me since I ran into the WWs quite frequently in RBII/3D, Flying Circus, AH and more).
