Minimizing game

Ok. I am trying to lighten the load on my CPU while playing in VR mode. In order to play in  VR, I have to be using steam VR to launch the game. Essentially, I have 3 copies of the game playing at 1 time. I am only able to minimize the steamVR screen and not the game. Does anyone have a work around for this? I have googled my eyes out trying to find an answer and I cannot.

What headset are you using?

Set the in game screen resolution to minimum, this  doesnt actually makes it a post stamp size but is way better than DCS.

Samsung Odyssey

I have to have WMR software open, steam vr open, AND the game. Its annoying at best.

Odd it has for me, I use to when I go back and forth with PWCG at times.

Uncheck Full Screen mode in the game’s graphics setting. Then Alt Tab.

That works. But it will NOT Minimize and is infuriating.

Just thinking ? 

Start the game in VR while have selected windowed mode. 

Remove the headset from your head and use Back to desktop by Win+Y key

minimize the game to an symbol on the taskbar.

 

edit why using 3 copies on one system, or did I read this wrong?

You cant. The game dosent have a minimize button in the corner.
