Is my HOTAS stick dying?

I've been noticing in the past few flights that if I pull back fully on my stick that elevators return to centre if pulled back all the way. A quick check of my response curves show that this is a joystick fault it seems. If I pull back then the dot goes 90% to the bottom and then returns to centre. If I pull back less than 90% then it remains. I know I shan't be ever needing that much pull, but if I do then I'll really want it, but currently it'll just return to centre, leaving me dead in the water against an enemy?

 

Is there anyway I can fix this?

Marco, If you can, take it apart and blow it out. I recently had to do just that to my Saitek throttle quadrant and it works much better now.
