VR mirroring/videocapture question

So. I am trying to take in game videos of flights etc. But every video capture software I try only takes what is being displayed on my monitor as the video or broadcast.

When I play in VR I minimize all of the stuff that is running as to not eat up resources while playing. So. When I do this, there is nothing to capture. It's just the background of my desktop.

Anyone have any ideas on where to start solving this problem?

Save game while playing vr, then later start again game in flat mode, and make your videos.

Besides, nobody wants to watch video with 2 screens, especialy with big fov what makes movie pictures distorted.

Use Alt R and record the trackfile of your flight

Take off VR headset and go to 2D viewing for the trackfile

Go to flight records and review the flight

’H’ Key will remove or place hud allowing you to pause the trackfile and swap between the different Camera systems

Now it depends on your video card and its software

If you have Nvidea, use shadow play to record from your trackfile using the different camera views

Then you can import that /those files into your normal video editor and produce your movie.

I think AMD has something similar to Shadowplay or you could use OBS (which personnally I hated)

Sorry. Let me rephrase this. If I were to be broadcasting instead. How can I broadcast while having the stuff on the monitor minimized. I would like to broadcast from my HMU. I minimize everything else to let the CPU focus on the headset and not trying to have essentially 3 copies of the game running at the same time.
