SharpeXB Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) When playing with external views disabled and ramp start, how do you find the runway on an airbase? You also need to know the wind direction for which one to use. Will there eventually be some type of ATC? Edited April 25, 2014 by SharpeXB
andyw248 Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 The wind direction and velocity is displayed on the first screen after the mission has loaded. When you are in the mission you can also get the mission briefing by hitting LWin + B (if you kept the default key assignments). As for finding the runway, I haven't seen any airport diagrams yet, but ultimately all taxiways lead to a runway... Yes, it would be nice if we could zoom into the map, and when we are close enough it would display the airport layout 1
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Andy, Never thought about it before but zooming in for airport diagram is a really good suggestion.

Depends on the server settings I suppose. RoF always shows your map location, even with icons off, when you're on the ground. It's as if you landed and asked for directions.
