Hohenadler Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 I have played ROF and notice that 90 percent of the time the AI ends up flying in circles about 400m and Lower it is a bit annoying and predictable. Are the AI in FC vol 1 "smarter?"
Feathered_IV Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 Hi Hohenadler. The most recent AI in Flying Circus is definitely better and more varied than what you get in RoF. I say that as someone who has been an open critic of the very unsatisfactory AI over the last 9 years, so you know I am not biased. I'd go so far as to say the new AI is what makes FC a must buy if you are into WW1 and singleplayer.
ST_Catchov Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 I wonder if the new DM will have an impact on the AI behaviour?
Hohenadler Posted March 26, 2020 Author Posted March 26, 2020 Is FC going to get scripted missions and a career mode? 15 hours ago, Feathered_IV said: Hi Hohenadler. The only thing I know it has is quick missions. A Career mode doesn't seem likely in the short or medium term. I do hope to see it eventually but I wouldn't hold my breath. There is a Scripted Campaign out now that is being made official soon but you can download it already. Also, Pat Wilson's Campaign Generator can create it's own campaign system that plays a bit like career mode. There could be more but this helps get things rolling in single player.
