Running CoD from IL2 launcher?

This is probably a daft question but here goes.

I purchased CoD from the IL2 site, where I have downloaded the client yet the launcher isn't offering me the ability to play CoD?

Where am I going wrong? Should it all run from the one launcher?

Hi, no such thing as a daft question. Although they are from the same site they are two completely different games and don’t share a launcher. You can launch CoD from Steam or the desktop icon

Unfortunately neither of those options are available. I have paid for it, I have a key, but it doesn't seem to have downloaded and installed and I can't find the option to do so. What am I missing?

You will need to install and set up an account with Steam. Last i checked you can only launch Clod through steam (well you can launch from a desktop icon but steam needs to be running)
