Could you remind me what the #5 error code is? I can't remember if I've gotten it before. That might be important.

Could you also post your full computer specs, windows version, and any driver or windows updates you've had recently (after formatting)? If you just formatted your PC, your drivers for various things including your video card might not be up to date, which might be contributing to the issue.

Also, do you have any third party software like Discord, TrackIR or Steam running in the background? I have had issues in the past (thought not anymore, it fixed itself somehow) with launching Il-2 while Discord is running. What I had to do was tab out of Il-2 and start Discord after launching the game, or it would hang on startup.

yes I have, Ive talked to 1C support and NVIDIA support and none of them can give me an actual answer about whats going on, 1C says my NVIDIA GPU is default but I literally made it the only one in my BIOS and this shit still happens, been having issues with loging in for almost 3 weeks now, shame really.

Can you please give us your system specs? Processor, GPU, RAM, Motherboard, hard drive, type of internet connection. We need more information if we are going to try and help you. I bolded part of the quote from your post above - I'm not really sure what you mean by this? Do you have multiple GPUs in your PC, or onboard graphics or something like that?

Also, let us know if you are launching through the Launcher, the .exe file, or through Steam.

I just downloaded BOBP last night. Its the only great battles title I have currently. it installed fine. but... when I log in, all I get is the camera panning around an IL2 in the hanger.no menus, no options, nothing? Has anyone had this / does anyone have advice?

I've tried restarting the PC.

Run as admin

have my nvidia control panel set up to use the GPU (GTX960M)

Not sure what to try. Any help is much appreciated!

It looks like the menu is cut off on the right hand side, maybe even all sides, like the game is thinking your screen is much bigger than it is. What is your monitor resolution?

Try opening the game through the Launcher.exe. On the upper right is a settings button. Click that and you will see a bunch of options on the right hand side. There should be an option there to check "Full Screen Mode" and set your screen resolution to match your monitor's resolution.

If you don't have that, take a screen grab of what your launcher looks like.

I think that the game is actually launching fine its just not displaying properly.

No problem! I saw this issue come up a while back, so it just popped into my head. I tend to spend time on this part of the forum because I find technical issues and computer problems extremely frustrating, so I can educate myself on common issues and help people out and build up karma for when my own computer gets borked.
