Very cool.:salute:

The first thing coming to mind when i watched this:

"Daka-Daka-Daka-Daka-Daka-Daka-Daka......you could teach monkeys to fly better than that."

Awesome video!

I know the pilot's point of view is different from the GoPro's view, but when the canopy frame was covering the "target" I got pretty tense, you don't want to lose sight of the target.

What plane were you flying?

I always wonder what cost it is to operate one of those.  It is defenatly a good cheap plane to buy.

I never looked into buy one because I thought it was super expensive, always looked at them thinking I wish I could afford one, one day saw one for sale, saw the price and saw that this is the best bang for the buck, I paid 75K for mine its a 1972 fully restored, parts are a lot cheaper than Cessna , maybe a third, and you can find everything.

Fuel burn, 16GPH at cruise, 20GPH aerobatics or dog fighting (so much  fun is totally worth the extra fuel).

Very responsive, ailerons have push rods instead of cable, flies like a fighter.

Do not get me wrong. If I  was to buy I would done exactly same.
I use to dream of a Harward. But reading about it was daunting. Fuel economy to the roof and pretty expensive.

It sure look fun

LOL early war underpowered fighter.

Harvard too much fuel burn, cheaper to buy than a T34 though

T34 about same performance as CJ6 just a bit faster in cruise, expensive to buy 200K plus, cheap to operate, until you buy parts, super expensive.

Yak 52 very cheap to buy 40K starting price, same operating cost as CJ6, slower , small cockpit, small fuel tanks, fully aerobatic (inverted systems)

T28 , cheap to buy, but a monster sipping fuel and expensive parts, best flying airplane of all, flies amazingly.
