SPilot Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Using sopwith camel with aldis sight, I have lower then center point of view. How do I correct it? Standard sight is centered. Appreciate some help.
Dauntless Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 When in gunsight view hit Page Up or Page Down until you get it centered and when satisfied hit F10 to save.
SPilot Posted March 17, 2020 Author Posted March 17, 2020 When I page up or down the line of sight is too high or too low. A while back, I could page up or down in small increments. Now it is a large jump. I must have unintentionally changed something. Help
SPilot Posted March 19, 2020 Author Posted March 19, 2020 I tried all suggestions with no success. Something changed with the key mapping. I assume gunsight view is keyboard # 5. # 5 puts my point of view low, not centered on aldis sight. Help
SPilot Posted March 20, 2020 Author Posted March 20, 2020 (edited) I find it unusual that no one [so far] has an answer to my issue. Maybe I should be more specific. My problem is only with FC aircraft, using special gun sight. Standard default sight is not a problem. Although, with WWII aircraft, using up, down, right,or left keys, I get large movements, instead of small increments. Maybe I am fishing in the wrong pond. Should I question elsewhere? Ghost666 Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 (edited) Ok I'll give it a try. Go to settings, then camera, and change both the right and left camera speeds to around 5. This will let you make small movements with the keys. Hope that helps. oh, don't forget to change them back. Edited March 20, 2020 by Ghost666 Forgot something
SPilot Posted March 21, 2020 Author Posted March 21, 2020 Thank you, Ghost666, you set me on the right track. I went to settings/camera and after some trial and error, in pan camera mode I set movement speed to 5%. Right/left/up/down is now in small increments. I tested a number of aircraft and all is good. One question, why would I need to change it back?
Ghost666 Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 Glad you got it worked out. I find that if I leave it at a low setting when I use a snap view the snap is not that snappy.
SPilot Posted March 22, 2020 Author Posted March 22, 2020 Thank you again, I knew some one in the community would come through.
