Feathered_IV Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Had the good fortune to stumble across more of Masaru "Tochy" Tochibayashi's work on YouTube recently. Many of you may remember his CG animations from several years ago. These latest ones seem to show the well known 343AG's battle with US forces around Matsuyama. Definitely worth the watch. Enjoy!
FlatSpinMan Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 He really does produce some amazingly life-like aircraft footage. Funny to see this particular battle over Shikoku. I live about an hour's drive from that island, more to get the land beneath the contested airspace.
hiro Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Yeah the aircraft footage is great, its almost like history chan's dogfights . . . Even though the human modeling is dated you can tell details of who they are, like the faces of the US pilots and the older officers.
Bearcat Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 I always liked his stuff.. I hope one day we can get a sim with that quality..
Feathered_IV Posted April 14, 2013 Author Posted April 14, 2013 Here I think. http://www.k4.dion.ne.jp/~suppon/ Some of these videos go back a long way. I recall watching some while waiting for the Il-2 Aces expansion to come out.
