Hop into the cockpit of the P39 and the view defaults to a look at the cockpit floor, making it virtually unflyable

This only happens with the P39 all the rest i've tried all default to a straight ahead view.

My TrackIR 4 works fine with all the other aircrafts I've tried.

In the P39 hitting F12 only centers you on the floor near the right foot.

Looking up at the ceiling and hitting F12 only helps a little.

Thanks for the great work, I just love the look and feel of everything.

Somehow, you have set the default view in the P-39 to be on the floor. Probably you accidentally hit F10 at some point when flying the P-39. The game saves these default head positions in a folder. I think you can delete the setting in a config file somewhere but I can't remember where it is at the moment. Then the game resets to the original default by itself.

You can solve it another way, its just a bit more of a pain. What you need to do is turn off any headtracking stuff you have, go into the game, and use the pilot head movement adjustments to manually move your pilot's head position to where it needs to be, or use numpad 5 to centre the view. Then hit F10 to save the new default head position. That should fix the issue.

Thanks, that was a fix.

And as a bonus I gathered up some back zoom i didn't know was available.

No more pressing keys to see what happens. Hehe
