jollyjack Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Hi, a Q. How can you get the basic 2 tanks in Battle of X (not TC) to shoot, aim the gun and how to turn the turret around? I've been trying to set the controls via Key mapping, but all that works is start the engine and drive around. Even the hatch won't open. The fire buttons do nothing on my joystick (they do in the planes), only the PoV switch works in internal view (1) etc.
40plus Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Use the mouse and keyboard. Joysticks are not supported properly in the tanks.

Thnx, tried that, the joystick works for driving, but it seems if only E works for engine and some incidental other key like R-shift + R for Radio. I tried setting others, but nothing seems to work. And then i re-addressed the PC keyboard functions ... more stuff works now .... partly fixed thus .... PS what are the Turret turning controls named BTW? Edited March 11, 2020 by jollyjack

If it hasn't changed, turn pilot head left/right and move pilot head up/down, like the defensive guns of aircrafts.
