I can't assign a key to the joystick

It's the "Reset Camera" key (5 in the keyboard). I've tried to assign a button in my joystick to no avail. Whenever I zoom, if I press number 5 key it resets to default view flawlessly, but if I press the assigned key in the joystick nothing happens. Does anybody why?

Hi,

 

please try this to reset the view (inside cockpit) with only one button completely:

assign the same button to:

Pilot head control -> Pilot head: snap position center    and

Pilot head control -> Pilot head: reset zoom

 

Of course you can also use two buttons for it if you don't want to reset the zoom while centering the view.

 

"Camera controls -> reset camera" is for the camera views outside of the plane.
