HagarTheHorrible Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 The gunner command "Cease fire" should not be an excuse for the gunner to sit back down and start nibbling his sandwiches. If the enemy is about the gunner should be up and alert regardless. At the moment, unless I look around I can't tell what state the gunner is in. Is he sitting down, totally uninterested or is he up and ready, but just not firing ! I want him be alert, but not shoot at 1000 yards, or through my head , that doesn't mean he should sit down.
NO.20_W_M_Thomson Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 LOL just be glad he shoots anything 1000 yards or 10,000 yards. Shit I'd be happy if he shoots anything @ 50 yards.
HagarTheHorrible Posted March 9, 2020 Author Posted March 9, 2020 Does anybody know the range restrictions that apply to “close” or “Normal” distance for the gunner. When flying against 2 seaters (QMB) I’ve experienced gunners firing at anything up to 1400 meters, often more accurately than, it appears, my Bristol gunner can at 200 meters.
