Bizzarre keybinding issue with Mixture

Ok heres a good one. Had set up my joystick with two buttons to control mixture. This stopped working so one day when in the DR1 I unassigned the joy buttons and re-assigned two keyboard buttons to test. They worked again. Great. I then went in and re-assigned the joy buttons and they worked as well. Cool, we were flying DR1's that day anyway so no worries. Unfortunately I have now discovered that only the DR1's mixture  worrks, but NONE of the other planes in Flying Circus, despite the same keybinding applying to all of them. No matter how I un-assign or re-assign when trying to get them to function. It only works in the DR1, no other planes and I cannot change that. Any ideas out there, cause Im gonna get real sick of just flying one plane forever.....lol.
