J99_Himmelhund Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Hi there I don't like the fact that you can't see a map time when you step on a map. That's why I built a clock for the GUI map. The 'clockwork' works in a 24-hour rhythm. The clock synchronizes itself with the map every 12 minutes. It does not have to be activated. It only needs to be placed on a free spot on the map. After synchronization, not many resources are needed because then most MCU’s are deactivated and only those that are currently active are active. To display the time, there is an analog clock face with the display 'AM and PM' + a digital display in 24-hour rhythm. It is not necessary to use both displays. The display that is not required can be removed. I will implement the clock on the J99 server. The watch has yet to pass its long-term test there. 1
LLv34_Temuri Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 If you do many deactivations/activations for icon MCUs, you'll have server stability issues.
J99_Himmelhund Posted March 9, 2020 Author Posted March 9, 2020 Thanks for the hint! In fact, short high peaks appear in the diagram when the map is starting. In the further course I could see no problems.
