Dexadrinne Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 For instance im trying to set trim up and down via my large grey hat switch. The keybindings are correct. But the trim doesn't work. If i set the trim to axis and use a slider it works. But why not with a hat switch? Bug?
TRRA15 Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 You can use the multi direction "castle" switch just beneath the hat switch on that stick for trim. Works very well for me.
Hoss Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 (edited) I have mine set up on the Trim Hat, Roll/Pitch/Yaw/and 190 Pitch... I use TARGET profile so I can use the Up/Middle/Down and In/Out Modifier. Works like a champ, I've had absolutely no problems with it since I set it up on the Warthog three years ago. My default setting is O = Out and M = Middle, so I have to hit IN to use Roll which is not really need as much as Pitch and Yaw. Hoss Edited March 7, 2020 by 361st_Hoss
Dexadrinne Posted March 8, 2020 Author Posted March 8, 2020 (edited) I understand what you are saying guys. But ANY button that i map to my joystick does not work. only any axis. This is my problem. Pressing the default buttons on the other hand DO work. I dont understand. Edited March 8, 2020 by Dexadrinne
Dexadrinne Posted March 8, 2020 Author Posted March 8, 2020 Ok fixed the problem. The separate trim up and trim down individual button assignments don't work. I stumbled across that i have to map the buttons via the trim axis. Rational thought meant that i had to assign a axis to it. But i can also map two buttons to it. TBH honest doesn't make any sense to me. But it works. So all good now.
