KylerHolland Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Hello, pilots! So, my graphic settings are all maxed out and resolution is 1440p. What is the maximum range around me when contacts start to render and become visible? Let's say I fly on 4 km altitude. Will I see contacts flying right above the ground? Or I need to get lower in order to have the contacts rendered?
IRRE_Axurit Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 It depends on many things, the color of the plane, the ground, its position in relation to the sun etc. In general you should try to focus on the likely routes of the enemy. It can be a difficult exercise in concentration, depending on the season. But in good conditions you can see from above 4000m Good flight 1
CountZero Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 You can easyer see contacts that are below you then abow you or at same alt even. Youll have only problems seaing contacts that are close to you at some points as they tend to become invisable for moment over forests when your under ~1km from them, but from up high there is no problem, and if your looking at allied airplanes they are more bright then axis so its even easyer to see them from abow. You can be at 10km and youll see guy at 50m with no problem but when you get close to him lhe can become invisable over forests. 1
