How many mis-fires per belt of ammo is permissible? Playing off line, had to clear my guns every other burst.....Your armuror SUCKS!!

I don't have that many "misfires" in a season of competitive shooting, and I load for TWO people.

It's a random chance.

Is it influenced by G-forces? Because I feel like I need to clear the gun jams more often when I've performed a very tight, high G (by WWI standards) turn.

It's related to the number of can't miss chances you get.  The more VITAL the shot, or desperate, the situation, the more likely the chances of having a gun, or guns, jam.

It's the Gremlins, if you look really really carefully, you can occasionally see them out of the corner of your eye, hammering away at anything important, like your guns, a cheeky little grin on their devilish faces.

I notice my guns jam up more in the SE5a vs the SPAD.

I've always wondered if the reliability of the actual guns is randomly generated, rather than just the individual misfire chance...

I could swear I've had sorties where one specific gun acts up for the whole flight while the other fires well, or sorties where both guns are constantly misfiring, or sorties where I don't have a single misfire and expend all my ammo!

How are we supposed to know its not simply a jam that is cleared simply by cycling the bolt?:P (at least that is sometimes the case with semi autos)

They didn't like it too much when I asked that too....

I'd like to know where they buy their primers, and avoid that place.

Probably the same factory that makes Remington 22lr.

Thought of the most technically correct term: Stoppage
