Mission briefing text not displayed. COOP

Hey All

I am creating a co-op mission pack and I've written a narrative behind the missions for continuity and fun in general. I was excited to have my friend read it during our first attempt at the bundle of  however, the briefing text only appeared on his screen, on mine the text was the default "Mission Briefing" text. 

 

Has anyone else run in to, and or, knows how to fix this?

I created the missions and bundled them all in a zip and sent them to my friend to host.

 

He unpacked them and placed all the files in the Coop folder and hosted the Coop server and all the missions were available to him. 

 

When I joined I did get a "Getting files from server" message but after that nothing.

How did you implement the mission briefing (e.g., mission properties dialog, subtitle translator, picture of briefing text in media translator)?

 

We may need to see you mission files to determine exactly what's happening.

Did you save the mission under the coop folder or did you save it in a subfolder of coop? You friend has to save it in the exact same place. Check the .list file for the exact location required.

Thanks Jim - I am not sure - I will ask him. Could this also be the reason our skins are not showing up?

I don't know anything about implementing user skins so I can't help you there.
