cardboard_killer Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 "The first Polish fighter squadron in France is declared ready for combat. The 3e Escadrille “Dęblin” of the Groupe de Chasse Polonais is equipped with Morane-Saulnier 406s with additional Caudron 714s as trainers. Two additional fighter and one reconnaissance squadrons will be operational but not fully equipped by late May. During the Battle of France they will be considered insufficiently trained for frontline combat and utilized for airfield, city, and factory defensive patrols. Most of the aviators will make their way to Britain after the fall of France." 1
