KIWI-KiwiBandit Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Hello, can anyone provide a silhouette chart of the aircraft in this game please? I'm having trouble identifying aircraft in 'expert' mode. I'm brand new to the game, so still getting used to it, but a chart would be awesome. Thanks
Finkeren Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Making a chart shouldn't be too difficult, but honestly the quality of the models and their long distance redering in BoS is good enough, that you can actually use real life identification charts.
Finkeren Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 While you wait for someone to make a chart, there are a few things that are worth looking for when learning AC indentification: As a rule of thumb virtually all Soviet fighters of WW2 have relatively short, stubby wings that are very broad near the fuselage and pointed at the tips. They also have a very distinct radiator intake below the fuselage which no LW fighter has. It's quite a bit more difficult to distinguish between the LaGG-3 and the early Yaks. The most obvious things to look for are the different shaped tails, the "hunchbacked" look of the Yak and the overall heavier look of the LaGG.

SOLIDKREATE Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Is it me or does the 109 look like a penis with wings? 1
Finkeren Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Is it me or does the 109 look like a penis with wings? I think you need to cool down and put some ice on whatever is itching there. You seem to see penises everywhere. 1 1

II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 I love how both recognition devices clearly are influenced by the allied side who is printing it. The German aircraft obviously have western or eastern design attributes which the actual aircraft don't.
