The small green #'s upper screen right. What are those?

The #'s that are with the airplane I.D. tags, what do those represent?

Why is that red marker with circle on top of an arrowhead always there?

1. If you mean the same green numbers that you can see in this screenshot. Then the answer is that this is displaying your current frames per second. You can toggle that away with a key. Not sure what the default binding is (have tweaked mine about a lot) but check your key bindings for yours.
   
   
    
2.  The distance? The icons have the name or type on top, with the distance underneath, and then a triangular marker at the bottom.
    
3. Red marker with circle on top of arrowhead that's always there? Lost me on that one.

I think he's talking about the marker you get in  Quick mission builder that designates your spawn location . The goes away when you disable icons ...I think it's the i key .

Could it be the track recording icon? ctrl R to toggle it.

Can also disable them through the realism settings before starting the flight in that case;

Specifically they are Navigation markers

 

Yellow is the next waypoint

Red is the "attack zone"

Blue is "Land here"

If you play offline there is an icons mod with several options, including getting rid of waypoint / attack zone markers etc.
