50% of the Items missing in the OJECTS selector

Q about the Editor: I really miss that when making a mission in the item selector on the right, half of the goodies are graphically missing.

Is there a way of managing those, and adding some pictures there?

PS What are these Funicolare things and their use; if you look it up it seems to do with mountains and train routes, but i IL2 it looks like some medieval hangman's platform ...

A funicolare is a word that comes from the Italian. It is generally a way to transport goods or persons through a rope or cable system suspended on pylons. Typically a cable car system.

It comes from the word fune that means cable, rope.

Credit to GSHWK_Houndstone_Hawk for doing the original pdf's.  I took his pics and resized for ME.

 

Extract to data/gui/previews, and if you want to keep stock pictures, just say no to overwrite existing, but his color pics are a lot better than most the stock ones.  

 

Will still not give you all the previews, but does fill in quite a few gaps.

Some IL2 squadrons have a more, shall we say, sharpened interest in maintaining internal discipline among members.

 

Not that =[The Inquisition Aviatus]= would ever condone the use of such medieval apparatus', of course.   Such as the Judas' Chair for those who cannot maintain proper formation integrity.    ?

One Q, is there a file size limit or default for these preview files?

PS I tried some sizes, but it seems to be around 8 to 25 kb-s

not sure.

biggest one in stock previews is for Trigger CheckZone.  It is 41.4KB and 150X150 pixels.  Am pretty sure (but could be wrong) the preview has to be 150X150 or less.

It's from the Kuban map. The Germans had build a ropeway across the strait of Kerch to transport supplies.
