After hearing that IL2 Great Battles now supports Andre's Wings software and Jet Pad, I would love to hear how folks feel about it. That will give me something to think about for the next 6-8 weeks while I wait for mine to be delivered.  ;)

I am curious as well.

Well guys,

let me try to sum up, what experience I can share. I own my Gametrix Jetseat since approx. 3 years and until last month I didn't use it at all, except at

the beginning using the sound mode. At the time using the sound mode was the only way to use it as it wasn't supported by the game, alas.

But, the first impression then was good. I good feel the rumble of my engine and when I fired my guns, there was also some kind of rumble, but that

was it. And beside of this, my seat also rumbled with every single damned mouse click and every background sound or noise of the game would

activate those actuators - long story short, it was really annoying. So, unplugged and tossed it back into the box.

With the announcement of SimShaker software being finally supported by IL-2 Great Battles, I reinstalled my Gametrix Jetseat and started to run it

with the SimShaker Wings software. Now, this was a completely different story. Fantastic! It works like a charm.

You will have different cues to activate your 8 actuator. Those different cues can be tweaked separately, so you can modify your gaming experience

as you like. But the good thing for me is, I helps me to fly my airplane clean - yes, as long as you only feel the beat of your engine and nothing else,

you may assume you fly your airplane well trimmed and without drag - clean. Because, if you do some hard manoeuvres you immediately feel the

drag, if you exceed the dive speed you will notice it too, before your airplane starts to disintegrate.

And as I went for a quick flight on BERLOGA and was hit for the first time sitting in my Gametrix Jetseat, I was really scared to hell - wow! What a new

level of experience. Really great!

Hope this helps and gives you some kind of outlook, what you may expect. I'm still amazed and won't unplug it again.

Cheerio

Thanks Therion!

I should state that 3 years ago I also owned the Gametrix Jet seat, (which has recently been replaces by Andre's Jetpad).

I flew the A10C Warthog in DCS with the Jet seat. I was impressed by its enhancement of my VR experience.

What I was not impressed with was the durability of the vibration motors. I had several cease operation in a short period of time with minimal use. Andre's customer support was great, but I found the products reliability and durability was lacking

Before buying the new Jetpad I asked Andre if he was using the same motors since that might have dissuaded me from buying the product. He said he was using better ones, so I made the purchase.

Id really like to hear from owners of the new Jetpad to hear what their experience of the new product is.

UPDATE - Hmmm. given the lack of response I guess not a lot of folks use this product.

Thanks for sharing! I too had only been using this in sound mode only. 100% agree - this is now the best thing since sliced bread!

Short and sweet, flying with the Andre's JetSeat is the dog's proverbials. Cheers mate!

Hello

When I forget to launch it, I immediately feel that something is missing from my flight.
It brings me a real complement to VR.
It seems that with the latest version of the DM, the impacts are better felt, added to the improvement of the sounds, it reinforces the insertion.

Thanks Jason
Thanks André
