Need help for setting up

Hi everyone,

 

First of all, I hope I'm in the correct category. Please excuse my English, I'm not fluent..

 

Ok so I've bought IL2 this afternoon. Besides the fact tht the game looks beautiful, I can't enjoy completely it because some configuration's issues.

 

Indeed, I have the feeling that the game doesn't properly recognize my joystick. I mean I can use it, but the plane keeps rising alt even if I'm not touching my stick. Moreover, I can't stabilize my aiming when moving the stick, it's very hard then to shoot an ennemy.

 

Do you have any tips which could help me ? Because I don't think that in IL2 1946 the rising was so hard when not touching the stick.

 

EDIT : also, what's the title for the keys which enable to control the engine's speed ? It's hard to make a dogfight because of that...

Your talking about trim, which is not yet implemented for the Russian planes.

The 109, does have trim, it is listed as " horizontal stabilizer", you can assign that to a key/button and be able to trim the pitch in the 109.
