Oscar19681 Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 Will we see more versions of the Sherman? id really love to see the Sherman m4a2e8 like we saw in Fury. Or any other long barreled Sherman for that matter. I’d also love to see U.s crew and voices to represent the U.s
Tonk99 Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 If another volume of tank crew comes out I'm pretty certain it will deal with American or British vs. Germans. At least I would hope as there are plenty of sims that focus on the Eastern Front and very few that focus on the west or Africa. But Tank Crew 2 is probably still quite far to go, they're still decently far but still close to release of TC and I'm guessing they're gonna focus on Normandy for a bit. Idk I hope for an American or British based sim too but we'll just have to see.

The Sherman is allready In-game. And i don’t see how it is totally hard to maybe model for example a Sherman firefly..

Tank Crew takes place in the eastern front at the Battle of Kursk and no Firefly has seen action there. So why should a Firefly be modelled? We will see how successfull TC is at the end. But you are right, many tanks are only small modifications. We all hope to see more models and more maps in further TC products. Edited February 28, 2020 by JG27_Steini 1
Hanu Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Everything depends on the sales, so please keep marketing to your buddies also. If it will sell well enough Jason can get more money from the bosses to develop this spectacular architecture even further. I am so very happy that we can enjoy all these products on the same combined platform. 2
Garven Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Speaking of Sherman variants did the ones received by Russia under the lend lease program have the gun stabilizer removed because it doesn't seem to be modeled in game?

Yes, all Shermans except 105mm Howitzer variants had a stabilizer, did Russian crewmen utilize then? Dunno ?♂️ Edited February 28, 2020 by =362nd_FS=RoflSeal

As said before by Steini it is mostly because it is based on the Eastern front and more specifically at the battle of Kursk. Like I said and what others have said if it sells enough I'm sure they will do another volume of tank crew and hopefully it will be in the west or in Africa. But for the time being I personally would rather them really get the foundation of the project down as currently it is quite obvious this is something new to the engine itself. And if they really focus on making this first project really solid then any new project will simply be more maps and tanks along with small updates instead of big features that need to be introduced or fixed in the current game.
Aliocha62Mordreddesurmia Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 Hanu's right, it all depends on the commercial success of "Tank crew." So before hoping for additional tanks and maps or other theatres of operation it is important that WE ALL make this project come alive by promoting it to friends and people around you who love history, tanks and World War II, the rest will follow with the success of TC. I too would like to be able to remake the Battle of Normandy, the counter offensive of the Ardennes, Operation Bagration, the Yellow Plan in May-June 1940 in France or El Alamein in North Africa, all in German, American, English, French, Italian, Czech or Soviet tanks... 1

I hope the Devs do not allow Tank Crew to depart from historical accuracy of the Battle of Kursk. That's why we have World of Tanks. Maybe in future modules, but keep this one historically correct. That's one reason I bought it. Edited March 15, 2020 by manintan2016
beresford Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 If they did the desert they wouldn't have to worry about AI seeing through trees and buildings.
