JG7_X-Man Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 When I go from playing single player (quick mission) to Multiplayer dogfight mission - I lose force feedback on my elevators only. I have to restart the game before joining Multiplayer dogfight server to regain the correct force feedback effects on all control surfaces. This has been an issue since day one - I just thought about posting about the issue today. Thanks
sniperton Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Little consolation for you, but I have similar issues with my MSFFB2 in BoX. FYI I've already lost FFB on the elevator in quick missions as well, but the issue is more pronounced (and annoying) online. Sometimes the loss of FFB on the elevator is just a pre-symptom for a complete lock-up of the stick with no input processed any more. (The rest of my devices work fine even afterwards, so the issue is limited to the MSFFB2. All my devices are plugged into the same powered USB2.0 HUB.) The chances for this to happen increase with playtime and with alt-tabbing out from the game in my experience. The only workaround I found so far is to restart the game after one hour of playtime. Still less annoying than to crash and die whenever your stick decides to take a nap. 1
JG7_X-Man Posted February 26, 2020 Author Posted February 26, 2020 Not a big issue - just more of an annoyance.
9./JG27golani79 Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 Sometimes when I have issues with FFB it helps to go into control options without changing anything. Doesnt solve it always though - I also need to restart from time to time. I only lose functionality though when I change / adjust controls or tab out. When I stay in game it usually is fine. 1
