Dijital_Majik Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 (edited) Thanks for this!! I was actually just about to ask for recommendations here, as I'm seriously considering jumping into FC, but have no WWI aviation knowledge beyond knowing names like Mick Mannock, Richthofen, Boelcke, Sopwith, Dreidecker etc. Edited February 22, 2020 by Dijital_Majik
JGr2/J5_Baeumer Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 Adding to the FC FAQ. Nicely done! 1
ST_Catchov Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 Great stuff Sizzlorr! I actually have the 4 years of thunder set on DVD. From back in the day, you understand …. when people did that kind of thing …. 1
No.23_Starling Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 (edited) Don’t forget Cavalry of the Clouds. It’s the best collection of interviews with actual pilots including De Haviland himself on YouTube. His house was a bit big! Arms companies pay well. Edited February 23, 2020 by No56_Waggaz 1 1

Was a wee bit suspicious of this one when the opening scenes were Tiger Moths.... glad I stayed with it. Good stuff! Thanks for posting! 1
ST_Catchov Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 I'm thankful that moving pictures, as primitive as it was back then, was a thing back in those long ago days. It gives all of us us interested in the pioneering days of early aviation an insight into these incredible machines. Not to mention the great Charlie Chaplin and other innovators of this new technology. I have to thank you again Sizzlorr for compiling this list.
