Guest deleted@200106 Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 I obviously have an active account here and have for a number of years. I ensured my password was up to date and I entered the same in the game. It will not let me link the accounts no matter what I do.
[RBRI]Khaela Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 I have a friend who has a similar problem. Bought the game on steam, logged in and clicked to create a new account. Set it all up, but when he then should login it said wrong email and password. When he logs in on his account page on the web page there's no products listed as bought/activated.

Mine are the same and I'm having this issue as well. Keeps telling me the e-mail address or password are wrong. Double checked both. Steam account and IL2 account have the same e-mail address, and I'm typing the password correctly.
LooseSeal Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 I've just tried to start the game today too, from Steam (with the same login for both), had to login which was a bit weird, and it's telling me I haven't purchased either Kuban or Bodenplatte... which I have. And have played from Steam. It seems like something was reset because I never usually have to enter my username and password when the game starts.

Probably won't hear anything until tomorrow. I don't know if its advisable for us each to submit a ticket or if one is enough. I added a link to this topic in the ticket, though.

Support was able to link the accounts but 2 things I've noticed: 1.) anything you currently have ongoing in game (such as careers) will be deleted. I'm waiting on a reply to see if there's a way to get them back or not and 2.) the forum hasn't (yet) updated to show purchases I made through steam. That may just take some time though. Edit: There is no way to restore them. So if you get Support to do this for you, you'll lose everything you did under your Player-###### profile, and start over under whatever your tag is you set on the website.
