RoF Flight stick hat and snap views

I just got a new flight stick, the VKB Gladiator mkII. I have no problems in BoX, but I went to play some RoF, and the hat isn't working for views. It is recognized in the mapping, but does not affect views within the game. Anyone know of a fix, or what I've muffed up?

 

EDIT: it was a joystick number change that did it, although I swear I remapped and applied. So thanks for all the replies

Help Plz, 

 Long time, 1st time as they say. NEver had an Issue b4 but cousins little rat (calls it a dog) jumped on my desk and now my pilot view is facing the Tail. I dunno what to do, tried reassigning joystick controls etc I dont know what happened am I missing something obvious? It had to be some button on either keyboard or hotas controls but I cant find it (btw it seams to be specific to career mode cuz everything else is fine. Thanks in advance and a Happy New Year to all.
