Sold my Lenovo Explorer and bought the Rift S. My IPD is 64mm (perfect for both). Here is my feedback:

Resolution, Clarity and FOV

As the Lenovo offers 1400x1400p  commercial real estate consultant per eye, I was worried about the downgrade to the Rift S 1280x1440p per eye.

I replaced the back foam to front on the lenovo in order get the lenses closer to my eyes in expense of a little of confort.

On the Rift S, I use it on the  prabhadevi apartment mumbai closest option possible. On both headsets I can feel my eyelashes touching the lenses. So I know I get the maximum FOV possible.

Although Rift S has lower resolution, it has noticeable better visuals/clarity, meaning the SDE is lessened. This is due lower FOV and better lenses.

Lenovo Explorer has good clarity on center (rift S still slightly better)  commercial property in pune

Rift S clearly wins on clarity and SDE

The pixel density is increased at the cost of FOV. You can see the screen borders (only from sides, not upper and lower border) on the rift s when using the headset as close as possible to your face. This was not noticeable on lenovo explorer even when pushing the headset against my face.

Lenovo Explorer wins on FOV.

Do I miss the FOV? Not much, at first when you are looking for the FOV limitation, it feels a little disappointing. But I find that when playing and not thinking about it, it feels fine. Even on sim racing.

:good:

Rift S is a great kit especially for the price. I have been using mine pretty much daily since getting it last May.

IL-2 is gorgeous in it.
