Surrexen Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 I'm currently doing a campaign using the Tempest in Bodenplatte and have noticed some strange things going on with the awards. For example when I was awarded the DSO it was initially given with one bar already on it, then the next mission it gave me a second bar to the DSO, and then when proceeding to the next day it then awarded a third bar to the DSO before even having flown any further missions. Also the 'mentioned in despatches' awards don't seem to stack, so there are multiple entries everywhere and it looks a little strange, I think it should stack like the Russian rouble awards for killing fighters etc. Also the wound stripe icon is too big in the medal list when it is the most recently received award, once you get something else awarded and the wound stripe is not the left most icon it seems to be ok. On the American side flying P-47's I was awarded the silver star with oak clusters, as well as DFC's with clusters etc but no bronze star has been given. I would have thought a bronze star would come before a silver star? Anyway that's just a few things I've noticed.

Was this a career you hadn't played in a while? The Bronze Star Medal was awarded for valor in ground combat, so you're not going to see it. Edited February 11, 2020 by LukeFF
