Panzerlang Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 I don't have a clue if the P4 could be driven with the head out the driver's hatch, pretty sure the Tiger could and definitely the Panther G. In the game it's not possible with the P4, Panther D or Tiger. Is this correct?
OrLoK Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 im positive ive turned out in the tiger whilst driving.
migmadmarine Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Can't in the tiger because the hatch isn't directly above the driver and is quite high, panther required installing pedal extenders, and therefore could only be driven unbuttoned on road marches after preparation. Don't recall on Pz.IV but ai imagine there would be similar issues.
LLv24_SukkaVR Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 I think you would have to be really tall and even then it would be pretty uncomfortable to do that. You could do that previously with Tiger and i think Panzer III but they corrected it.
Yogiflight Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 You could never with Panzer III, because it didn't have hatches for driver and radio operator. They left the tank through the side hatches between the tracks or through the turret.

Not sure if this set was already available for the Ausf. D. 1
