Steam & Dev Site purchases & download.

Hello 

 

I brought Battle for Kuban from the devs website in the recent sale i wanted to try the game then purchase BOS & BOM but the sale ended the next day  , If i purchase BOS from steam will i have to download the game again on steam or can i link accounts carry on using my current client?

If you link accounts between steam and the store, I believe the only way you can use all your content, both steam and non-steam, is to access the game through Steam. So you would have to download the game on Steam, yes.

Ok thanks for the reply found the game cheaper on gamersgate (steam key) so might buy it .. I would rather the money got he dev's any idea when they usually do sales?

Gamersgate isa  licensed re-seller, Jasopn Williams  mentioned them in that post you linked   But thanks for the heads up.

Thank you I did find it cheaper but it was one of those dodgy grey market sites so avoiding it, I like to the support the dev's so I might wait for sale ...... ?

Any idea about the promo codes mentioned on that post you linked? Im really enjoying the game even tho im terrible! I just got my VKB Gladiator Mk.II joystick need to order IR Tracker now this is becoming costly lol!
