cardboard_killer Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 Only mentioned here because he stared in the best US movie set in WW1. Much better than 1917. 4
Legioneod Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 Dang, one of my favorite actors. Lived to a nice old age though, I can only hope to live that long.

Paths of Glory? One of the best - if not the best - war films ever made. When they can make something like this I'll go to the cinema again. RIP Kirk Douglas. Last of the Hollywood greats. 1

Arguably best Kubrick, too. Tight & to the point. And K. Doug hamming it up with George Macready? That's about as good as it gets. God bless him; he was a true Hollywood icon & will be missed. Makes me feel that I may make it to 50 if he made it to 100+

Rjel Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 So many great films with an equal amount of varied roles. He was an incredible actor. Turner Classic Movies, as they typically do when a famous director, actor or actress passes, will feature Kirk Douglas films on March 5, 2020. There are some great films listed. There are so many more that he starred in beyond the listing below to be enjoyed. http://www.tcm.com/remembers/
