dburne Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 (edited) Couple of things I have seen in other sims regarding these , that I would really like to see implemented in BOS. 1: Track IR - I like it when, if Track IR is paused, the POV hat can be used as it normally would , for panning the view around in cockpit. Currently in ROF, this does not work. It does in some other sims I have. Granted I have my Track IR running for most of the time, however there are occasions I will pause it, and it would be nice to be able to have the POV hat to pan around with during the time it is paused. 2: Controller Input - Need a modifier option. I really , really like ROF's design in the controller and response input areas. I love how there is a separate section, and file, for response curves, and how you can set it for all planes, or just individual planes. This is awesome, and I hope it will be very similar for BOS. Whereas for ROF and WWI planes, one really does not need a ton of commands available to them on the stick or throttle. However a WWII sim, it would be desirable to have the ability to use a button for more than one command. Hence I would like to see a modifier option added in the controller input section, where one can assign a key or button press, to act as a modifier. For example, say I want my hat 2 up button on my stick, to be able to perform 2 different funtions, rather than one. I would like to be able to add say the paddle button on my stick, as a modifier, so then I could hold the paddle in and press hat 2 up, and it would perform a different action than what just pressing hat 2 up would do. I realize I can accomplish this easily enough, by using the software for my stick and throttle setup ( Target), but some sims I like just assigning them directly from the game, and it would be nice to be able to assign a modifier from there. Please consider these two items, I know for me they would be very nice to have, and I am sure many others would appreciate having them available as well. Thanks, Edited March 31, 2013 by dburnette
