gordenbro1 Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 I’m relatively new to the game and have been playing the “Blazing Steppe” campaign that uses the Yak-1. I am having trouble with the holographic sight dipping so low I can’t see it during maneuvering. I have trackIR and can kinda see it if I get my head up and my head cranked forward some but it is really uncomfortable. I’ve tried re-centering trackIR with my head in different positions but it doesn’t work. On the old IL-2 I used to play in the bf-109 there was a button you could press to bring your head slightly right and closer to the sight for firing. Is there anything like that in this version? I’ve searched through the key inputs and haven’t had any luck with things I’ve found on google. Thanks for the help! [edited]
Yogiflight Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 @gordenbro1pause your TrackIR, then move your camera to the position you want it to be with the keys for pilot head up, down, left, right, forward, backward, and save it with F10. Then unpause your TrackIR again, and you should be fine. Best way to do it is in QMB flying level autopilot, without enemy of course, so you can take your time. 1
LLv24_SukkaVR Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 As Yogiflight said, and default keys for that are insert, delete, home, end, page up and page down.
Voidhunger Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 During maneuvering your gun sight will always sink. You can put your view higher with the adjustment a saving it with f10, it somewhat help a little.
